Local attractions, things to do & places to enjoy near Treetops, Lincolnshire

Treetops Cottages is located just three miles from the historic market town of Caistor and is within easy reach of Market Rasen, Louth, Brigg, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Cleethorpes, Scunthorpe and Hull. There is a railway station at Barnetby and Market Rasen with good links to Lincoln, Newark, Cleethorpes and London.

Located in the peaceful village of Grasby, you’ll find plenty of things to see and do on your doorstep whilst staying with us at Treetops.

Grasby is the ideal location for exploring the surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds countryside and is just 40 minutes from Lincoln and one hour from York.

There are plenty of country pubs, restaurants and shops within easy reach in Caistor, Brigg and Market Rasen.  We are well positioned to quite a few local attractions e.g. Market Rasen has a Racecourse and Golf Course. We are close to historic Lincoln, Cleethorpes and Skegness seaside resorts, Pleasure Island, Cadwell Park Races, Hemswell Antiques Centre and Hull Museum of Life.

We are in an excellent area for fishing, cycling and walking positioned on The Viking Way and only a short distance from the famous Humber Bridge giving access to Hull and the North Sea Ferry Terminal (approx 45 minutes away). Humberside Airport is only five minutes away and we will offer free parking for guests whilst they are away with transfers should they be required.

We can assist you in making arrangements for horse riding, attending horse race meetings, paint balling, golf, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting facilities which are within easy reach of Treetops Cottages.

Special occasions can be celebrated with meals provided in the comfort of your cottage or a booking or a take away can be arranged from a local restaurant.

Treetops offers you everything that is great about the Lincolnshire Wolds, stunning views, peace, tranquility and a property that fully blends in with its natural surroundings.

For local supermarkets and restaurants we are situated a short distance from Caistor which has a Co-op supermarket (open until 10pm Mon – Sat, Sun 10 – 4pm, a Post Office, Boots chemist & a Bank/cashpoint. For restaurants: there is the Settlement, The White Hart pub and Heritage Centre two local fish & chip shops, an Indian & Chinese takeaways. In Brigg, there is a large Tesco, Lidl and plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. There are also a limited bus service from Caistor which goes to Brigg, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Lincoln, Louth etc. With more local buses from Brigg.
